Eye Floater Simulator Privacy Policy

How the app handles your local records, care-resource searches, analytics, purchases, and support reports.

Effective date: October 16, 2026

1. Scope and important medical notice

This policy applies to Eye Floater Simulator, published by Aris Party LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). The app helps you simulate and describe visual floaters, keep a personal journal, and prepare information to discuss with an eye-care professional. It is not a diagnostic tool or medical device.

2. Information stored on your device

The app can store the following information locally on your device:

  • Floater profiles, visual settings, and generated preview images.
  • Journal entries, symptom selections, dates, notes, saved environment ratings, and other information you choose to record.
  • App preferences, onboarding choices, and cached purchase-entitlement information.

We do not upload your floater profiles, journal entries, symptom information, camera view, or photos to Aris Party servers. Records and journals do not have app-provided cloud storage. Existing saved records, check-ins, and environment observations remain accessible if paid access ends.

3. Camera, photos, and exports

If you grant permission, the app uses the camera for real-world floater simulation and may access photos you select for background comparison. The app saves or shares an export only when you choose that action. Backups and appointment packets may contain personal or health-adjacent information, so review the contents and destination before sharing. Camera frames and selected photos are not sent to analytics by the app.

4. Local Resources and external links

Local Resources asks for a location you type and a care or support category. It does not request device-location permission, save your search, or send the entered location to app analytics. The location remains on that screen until you choose to open a search and is discarded when you close that app screen.

Choosing a map search sends the location, selected country where applicable, and category to Google Maps in an external app or browser. Journal entries, symptom history, and saved visual records are not included. Google's privacy terms apply, and its results may contain advertisements. Official resource and professional-register links open without your entered location. The app does not rank or vet providers.

5. App analytics and advertising

The current app is ad-free. It does not display AdMob banners or offer ad-personalization settings. Advertising shown by external services such as Google Maps is governed by those services.

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand product usage and improve the app. It may process app launches, screen views, feature interactions, purchase or entitlement events, device and app technical information, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostics. We do not send journal text, symptom selections, floater profile names or settings, photos, camera frames, Local Resources search locations, support-report contents, or other user-authored health-adjacent content to analytics.

Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

6. Purchases and creator attribution

Apple App Store and Google Play process Lifetime Pro purchases and supported earlier subscriptions. New buyers are offered a single non-consumable lifetime unlock with no subscription, trial, or renewal. Existing subscriptions continue under their store terms until you cancel them. Buying lifetime does not cancel an earlier subscription. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information.

Purchases and restores use an online verification service operated for Aris Party. The app sends the store purchase proof, such as an Apple signed transaction or Google Play purchase token and product information, so the service can validate access. Entitlement information is also cached on your device. Your floater records, journal entries, camera views, and photos are not included in purchase verification.

If you follow a creator link or enter a creator code, the app stores referral information locally for a 60-day attribution window. It can send the creator code, campaign, click, source, content, and a randomly generated installation identifier to the partner service to record the referral. Available creator, campaign, click, and installation identifiers may also accompany purchase verification to check commission eligibility. Creators do not receive your identity, records, or symptom information.

7. Support reports and communications

The app does not automatically send support data. If you choose Send Support Report, it lets you choose whether to include a screenshot, app and device diagnostics, and recent technical logs, prepares the selected attachments locally, then opens your device's share sheet. You decide whether to send it and which service to use. Diagnostics can include floater settings; journal notes are not included in diagnostics. Screenshots may contain visible personal or symptom information. Review attachments before sending. Messages sent to support@arisparty.org are used to respond and troubleshoot.

8. Creator partner applications

If you apply to the Eye Floater Simulator creator partner program through our website, we collect the contact, channel, audience, country, professional-background, and application information you submit. We use it to evaluate your application, contact you, administer the program, prevent abuse, and maintain appropriate business records. Application data is stored using Google Firebase and is not displayed publicly. We do not provide creators with app users' identities, journal entries, symptoms, or other personal health information.

If you enable optional website analytics, the website measures page views, button and link clicks, device category, referral source, and whether an application was submitted. Typed form values are not sent to website analytics. See the website privacy page to manage that choice.

9. Sharing, retention, and security

We do not sell your journal or symptom information. Information is shared only with service providers as described above, when you direct the app to share something, when needed to operate or protect the service, or when required by law. Local app data remains on your device until you delete it through available app or device controls or remove the app. Support communications are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an appeal regarding personal information we control. You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings and use the app's data controls for local records. Contact us to exercise a request about information we hold. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Children's privacy

Eye Floater Simulator is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing.
